I'm almost finished this.....

well one similar to this...only thicker!!!!

just did a dispensary assistants course for work and had one of these to do, it's due in next Monday, so it's been head down, bum up....getting it done...loads of reading
(which I just don't have time for at the moment)

Started making up a couple of these into kits to pop onto the website,
they will be available in 2 colourways at the moment,
red and mustard (above) and pink and green (below)

Each kit contains calico (doll), fabric for dress and bloomers, felt for hat and purse, 2 buttons, wool for hair and of course the pattern!
Just working on the pricing, once I've done that I'll pop them on here.

where oh where are the days going?
I don't think I will have much time to post at the moment....
what's new...don't post every day anyway or even every 2nd day,
it's whenever I have something to show....
so maybe I just need to keep to that?

As I'm now working 3 days at the pharmacy, plus 2 half days doing other stuff,
doesn't leave a whole lot of time of blogging....
but I will still fit it in....somehow.

not to mention, trying to keep stuff on the website,
do stuff for markets later in the year (yeah right!),
keep the house reasonably clean and tidy....

does anyone know how to clone yourself, so I can do some REAL crafting stuff?
any help on that subject would be most appreciated!

ok that's my moan for today...

Mine was spent with 21 other girls doing a weekend course for work.
(no time for anything at all....)

On a more pleasant note,

I'm off to have a nana nap I think...cos I'm still tired as from the weekend!

Happy Mothers Day....

Hope that all the Mum's, MILs, Step Mum's, Foster Mum's
(whoever you may be),
have had a wonderful day full of special happenings....

My kids spoilt me with a new pair of slippers, and some beautiful coloured garden lights....
that tonight are lighting up the garden with red, green, blue purple and pink.....
they cooked bacon and eggs on muffins for brekky...
cute handmade cards.....

I've spent the day doing a bit of sewing, making some dollies (that still need to be finished)
and thinking about my own Mum who is no longer with us,
but will always be in my heart...
I think that's where I get my love of embroidery,
Mum did some beautiful stitching
(wish I had more of it...but that's another story!)
one day I'll take some pics of some things I do have...

so enjoy what's left of Mothers Day...

along with a flower brooch, a tin full of buttons, a lovely FQ and some smelly button melts...
