with a couple of misses (think I will redo them a bit later on)

Spring looks like it isn't far away when the daffs start this one
my one and only rhodie in full bloom...absolutely stunning this year
and more of those completed blocks

some beautiful morning walk photos, before the windy storms hit in the next couple of days
two lovely signature blocks from a swap in the USA via FB
thank you ladies

and finally this cute little fellow was just outside my bedroom window,
spotted him/her as I was making the bed

well off to finish off dinner before settling down to watch a movie I think

rolling roster updates!

this bundle of loveliness came to live at my house,
the front lot are designs by my gorgeous friends Lisa and Louise of Max and Louis Pattern co
so lucky to be able to call these 2 amazing women friends!
all purchased from L'uccello in Melbourne.
these are the 3 wallhangings all completed that I was working on during the last Zoom party

and I'm finally back into my Moda Blockheads 3 blocks..only about 12 behind!

thursday was YDs birthday and because we are in stage 4 lockdown in our area, we couldn't all be together to celebrate so we did it a little differently...

I made her favourite dinner for her and us (her boyfriend works near me so picked it up on his way home, as they are more than 5 kms from us)

Made some cupcakes as her birthday cake (again some for her and some for us)

connected us all up through FB on a video link and had dinner together!
interesting way to do it, but we got there!

blowing out the birthday candle!

Zoom sewing!

today I had the privilege of sewing with a group of wonderful girls organised through Chookyblue...
looking out the window at times when the rain was coming down quite heavy,
my tete a tete daffodils were looking a little soggy!

and this is what I managed to get finished off..
I put the borders around the 4 wall hangings,
and after the zooming was finished I quilted 2 of them and have the binding on one, which I'm going to try and finish off tonight.

thanks to all for a lovely afternoon of laughs, stitching and friendship...
and now I have a few more names to faces,
and a lot more blogs to visit!

look forward to the next meeting!

where has the time flown to?

didn't realise it was 2 weeks since my last post.
what have I been up to?
well not much really, some secret stitching which I'll shown very soon,
going to work, 2 days on 2 days off, doesn't give much time for anything except keeping the house clean and grocery shopping...
Speaking of shopping, found this little beauty in Aldi, one mug (small) or large cup brownie, 60 seconds and boy are they yum!

my garden is in Winter mode but there are hints of beautiful orchids that used to be Dads, there are only a couple out yet, with more spikes peeking out...
the tete daffs are blooming beautiful..
such happy little flowers...
lucky me has lots of these throughout the garden

my daphne is blooming...this is in a bit of a hidden spot, it's the only place I can get it to grow in this garden....maybe I need one in a pot?
and my succulents are starting to push out some flower spikes too..
think I have also lost a few to frost...time to buy more when this stupid lockdown is over!

few more of these were made

and this is the front window at work...
my boss decided that he needed to thank our community for their continued support throughout this ongoing craziness, so he commissioned a local artist and this is the result...looks great
