my week...

took a little trip along the coast from Inverloch back to Phillip Island
climbed over the rocks and rockpools near Inverloch

took loads of photos on the beach and from the cliffs

we live in a beautiful part of the world, so lucky!

went to the Grand Prix track and looked thru the Motor History Museum,
went thru the gardens which overlook the track and look back towards
Cape Woolami...there was some testing going on, formula 3s (I think)

did lots of walking on the beaches,
this one is Cowes

watched lots and lots of these guys!

hand feed the magpies at the motel where we were staying,
friendly little guys!

ate out...a lot!

watched beautiful sunsets each night

and watched the almost full moon rise, spectacular!!!!
Back home now for Easter,
and next week reality hits as we head back to work....
but I have another 4 days to enjoy before then!

Easter swap....

I was part of the very first swap for the  No Fuss Swappers
we all got our partners, emailed colour preferences and any dietary no-nos etc,
this gorgeous parcel arrived almost 2 weeks ago and has been sitting and waiting and calling my name...
today I got to open it!
inside was....

a sweet little card,
a gorgeous FQ of Tilda fabric (my first!)
a little box of mini Easter eggs and
a gorgeous mug rug!
Thank you Sandi
Once again you have gifted beautiful handmade items that I can't wait to use!
(Sandi and I have been partners in swaps before)
Can't wait to see what the other girls received!
I have also signed up for the next swap from the No Fuss Swappers for early May,
just in time for Mother's Day!
If you're interested pop on over to their blog and sign up, I promise you won't be disappointed,
all of the girls that swap there are wonderful...
until next time!

Wednesday already!

wow where has the week gone to again?
my holidays seem to be flying past !
lucky I have weeks off...3 to go.

Today has seen me up at  5.20am (yes you read that right!)
along with my youngest.
We were off to the hospital to have her wisdom teeth removed, all 4!
She did very well,
jelly and ice cream, frozen coke slurpies and custard...
we will see what tonight and tomorrow bring...
pain and bruising I'm sure!

Yesterday saw my parcel sent off to Tatyana for the No Fuss Swappers Swap...
more on that when it has been received and opened on March 18th.

Tomorrow I'm trying for a sewing day...
I did take along a sweet Gail Pan stitchery but only got a small amount done,
amazing how quick the surgery was!

I'm off to see how the patient is.
If she needs more jelly and ice cream
