holiday time!

well I'm half way through my annual leave....
decided that while mulching the garden I needed to dig up the tete a tete daffodils,
filled this pot up with bulbs
(it's a 10" pot!) very full...and I left heaps in the ground!
gave all these away on FB, plus heaps of star flower bulbs and some alstroemeria rhizomes

went up to Wangaratta to meet friends for a few days....
the giant river gums along part of the river had fairy lights in them!
Would hate to of been the person to climb the tree to put them up!

Lake Eildon is at 90%+ capacity...
been a few years...
this is March 2020
almost taken in the same spot

some new plants and pots for out the front...
the old ones were looking a bit old and tired!

more mulching in progress,
still need to finish this bed up behind that huge tree,
but that's for another day!
lots more progress has been made on this,
all the leaf blocks are in need of the applique being done.
Choosing the next border fabric...
leaning towards either the teal on the left or the mauve???

stayed at my second home for a couple of days
another view of the lake
and some pretties out of my garden,
only managed to grow one dahlia this year,
both of the others rotted away
(very wet when I planted them)

 that's it for now,

tomorrow is bringing up the fire wood to the back of the house...it's turned quite cold in the last couple of days!
