week 5 of lockdown #6

 hmmm....

7 days has turned into 5 weeks and counting!

not looking like we will be out of lockdown anytime soon...

so I started a new project with this...

production line block making

scrap trimmings..so satisfying!
all the blue blocks so far...
a bit of baking...trying out ideas for using up my kaffir limes,
lime and pistachio muffins with lime drizzle icing and extra pistachios!
pretty delicious!
my orchids are blooming again,
all the green are finished,
now the cream are out,
white are coming along nicely,
another couple of weeks before they are fully out

some daffs to remind us that Spring is here
bought this beauty inside for a few days
Fathers Day dinner done right...
fabulous take away from one of the local cafes,
got to support local in these crappy times whenever we can
hope you have managed to get some stitching done too!

I hear your pain about the lockdown .....12 weeks here and counting. Great progress in the sewing room and your orchids are beautiful. Put the kettle on I will be there to help you enjoy those muffins.

Your quilt looks good...... The orchids are gorgeous..... Lucky you to get take away in lockdown..... Not possible out here...... We got out of lockdown today but don't think it will last..... Just very few people getting tested..... The LGAs either side of us are lockdown with cases and they have to drive thru us to go between the centres even if it's only for essential travel.....

Isn’t it great you have your sewing and baking to keep you busy while in lockdown…
Always enjoy seeing your beautiful flowers…..
Stay safe and well. 🤗

I'm sorry you are all feeling the lockdown - our numbers are ridiculous but if they tried to lock us down again there would be anarchy. So much for common sense. What are you doing with the blue blocks? I have so much blue and want to use it but am having a hard time thinking of something.

Lots of loveliness in your post today, the blocks and the flowers. You garden must be gorgeous, and that daffodil looks very stunning.
