the Pinnacle from Halls Gap caravan park where we stayed
another side of the Grampians between Horsham and Stawell
Stawell is the home of the world famous Stawell Gift held each Easter,
these plaques are in honour of every winner from the time the Gift started, this was one of the oldest ones I found.
more views from The Pinnacle,
well worth the 2.5 hour round trip hike!
some beautiful wild flowers on the way,
tea tree and grevillea
lots of waterfalls
this waratah was in the garden opposite the park where we stayed,
it was magneficient!!! to say the least
cheeky wattle bird visitor!
these guys just roamed the park and streets all day and night!
painted silos in Rochester....WOW!!!!!
we left Halls Gap as it was freezing!!!!
to warmer weather in Echuca
cheeky ducks roamed this park...
these two were our camp mascots....
each van site seemed to have their own...
very cheeky and friendly
my lone tulip bloomed while I was away...

no trip would be complete without some purchases...
Stawell craft shop....lovely shop, friendly lady in there,

Looks like a great time away, the Grampians is a great place to visit .Cheryl works in the shop in Stawell, she is a lovely person. Great to have the birds and animals around you and your tulip is very pretty.
We loved our visits to the Grampians. Such a beautiful region. We did the Pinnacle walk but there wasn't any safety rails at the top then. It's a lovely hike. Beautiful wild flowers. I love the silo art being done in country towns. Enjoyed Echucha too. A lovely trip Julie xx
