Spring Flowers...

Yes I know it's not Spring yet....but who could resist these beautiful jonquils....
There's no much happening in the garden at the moment, but there's plenty of signs that things are going to happen....soon I will have loads of daffs blooming, the azaleas are starting to show some colour and the camillas are blooming too...

And if you are in the Healesville area on Sunday...come and say hi as I'm going to be at the New Healesville Racecourse Market.......

A finish...

Yes, you did read that right! I have a finish.....well 2 actually for July.....

This stitchery has been in my basket for about 3-4 years....it was something I designed myself and then didn't really like once I had stitched it, so it just sat....but now it's done....(still don't like it much!)

And some placemats, these have been in the scrap basket for months!
only 2 more to do and we will have something new on the table, instead of those crappy ones I've had for too many years to remember (they're all doggy eared, stained and yuck!).


Now I'm actually going to sit down and do some sewing before I have to go out this afternoon.

New Addition

Hi everyone,
sorry still not feeling 100%, so the posts are still somewhat few and far between.
Just wanted to let you know that the latest addition of The Chocolate Crow Trader is out....the girls have outdone themselves with their Christmas in July items....

This is one of my items...so pop on over and have a look around....

And just on another note....you will remember that on TCCT, we recently had Bev's Quilt auction....well the winning bid was an amazing $570.
Congratulations to the winner,(who wishes to remain anonymous) and thank you to everyone who did place a bid. All money raised goes directly to the Cancer Council in honour and memory of Bev.

Grrrrrr..... double grrr!!!!!

sorry I haven't posted for a couple of weeks....still feel like C***! Went to work yesterday....long day.....then had to go and pick up ED from Tafe at 10pm.....got home at about 10.45pm.....soooooo tired this morning......

Not all bad though....got home at 6pm and look what the postie had bought for me!
just need to decide what I'm going to make with them....

So onward and upward....I suppose....sorry I'm really a wet blanket at the moment.....I really don't do sick very well......wish it was just the flu...at least that would of been easier to cope with.

Hopefully next week I'll be back on track.....

Not much going on...

As the title says, there's not much going on here....been too sick....docs, antibiotics, docs, different antibiotics, docs, still more anitbiotics cos I still have an infection! I don't do sick very well, cos I don't get sick usually, well a cold here and there, that's about it....I'm the one that looks after the others.

talk about feeling like I've been run over by several trucks is an understatement!

Enough of that, I'm on the mend and actually feeling like picking something up and doing it (haven't done that in over a week!).

Just about got all of my items for TCCT done...just working on the last one as I do this post. As it's July, TCCT has a Christmas in July theme, so there will be some gorgeous things available soon....the girls normally outdo themselves for this. Can't wait to see.

The last week here has been cold and wet....and some really good rain....but now a little sunshine wouldn't go astray....

And finally I have made a decision on the mailing list prize for June (drawn July 14th) it's this....
OK back to it....while I still feel good.
