one UFO down!

this one has been hanging around for more years than I care to remember!
now it is done...all that it needed was 2 blocks added in to make it square and a final border to bring it all together, took about 5 hours to complete.
sometimes I wonder why it  takes so long to get around to finishing a project when there really isn't much to do to finish it?
strange creatures we are sometimes!

it's done!

this is the quilt I have been working on since about April last year....
it is for my youngest daughters boyfriend for his 21st,
which was on December 14th...
yes I missed that date....
a few issues with backing and quilting...
but it has now been handed over to its new owner!

the label on the back...
he has 2 cats, one black one white

and on my daughters bed...
very happy with how it turned out...
the quilting isn't perfect but I'm quite happy with most of it!

Christmas Advent swap what I sent my partner

this was a FaceBook swap,
but thought you all might like to have a look at what I sent to my partner anyway..
there were 24 small gifts for each day leading up to the 25th,
they didn't have to be handmade, just whatever you wanted to send..

and then on the 25th, this had to be handmade!
so I made a table topper...
always useful I think
it was a really lovely swap to be in....
hopefully there will be another one next year!
