farewell

today we heard that Viv Robinson passed away last night.

A very special and talented lady, 

who will be greatly missed in the quilting world, 

my sincere condolences to Viv's family and friends. 

RIP Viv,

retail therapy

today I went and did most of my Christmas shopping...

usually it's a week before and I'm running around like an idiot, 

spending too much money 

and not happy with what I have purchased

(although everyone seems to like their gifts on the day)

AND

I came home and wrapped them all up too!

Haven't got the Christmas tree up yet, so they are in my wardrobe....

anyway I needed to go to Spotlight for 2 DMC threads I am using on a special project...

Do you see the 2 DMCs on the right, well that's what I went to get, 

the rest just followed me home, 

what could I do?

(who has worked out already who I am!),

 has received her gifties already...

how speedy is that?

so glad that it's there all safe and sound!

Oh and I think I can pop the ornie up so everyone can see as I know it has been welcomed into it's new home!

website update

well as you know, my website is experiencing some difficulties at the moment....

VERY BIG DIFFICULTIES...

that is: 

it ain't working at all!

(very annoying)

AND 

now it's apparently time to decide what to do with it, 

upgrade the current site (which may or may not be beneficial)

get a new new website = cost (don't have a whole lot of cash to spare for this type of thing)

dump the current website= no sales / no where for customers to purchase

so this brings me to this point:

Do I start up my old selling blog Prim and Pretty?

Do I add a Photo Album of stock to my FB page?

Do I get a new website? 

(with the same name etc, just different hosting and format)

or 

Do I start a new page for selling ready mades here on the blog?

(I already have some patterns featured under the Patterns tab at the top of the page)

Any thoughts or comments are welcomed as I am in a bit of a pickle thinking about what to do!

just finished wrapping my SSCS presents, 

got the post box, 

found out how much postage would be, 

sealed the box, 

wait a minute?

onto the internet, looking looking looking...

OUT came the ornie I had made, 

onto plan B....

lucky I had been making some ornies (sorry can't show you yet) for Wyreena, 

but I can show you this

better be safe than sorry,

problem fixed, but not what I had first intended....

the last of the quilting is done...

the binding is almost completed, 

well you didn't think I was going to show you ALL of it?

yesterday I took my kidlets to see this cutie!

She belongs to a friend from work, 

only a week old, 

and Alice is her name...

well the website is back up and running...
it doesn't quite look like it should,
but the problems are being fixed

Christmas Craft Fair

started today at Wyreena Community House and Gallery
