this is my new bag I made while on holidays last week

new cot quilt ready for the quilting, and the backing!

things are moving....

today I took a little box of goodies to 

Wyreena Community House 

in Croydon, 

I was showing the lovely ladies there what I make as I wanted to hire one of their window displays...

turns out, someone didn't come for their window, 

and it was offered to me...woohoo!

I now have a lovely little display of softies, sewing accessories, a cute denim bag and a couple of table runners

these will be on display and FOR SALE, 

until the end of April...

so pop on over if you are near and take a look at the wonderful items on sale...

the lady next to me has beautiful jewellery, there are gorgeous wool felted cushions, handpainted silk scarves, lots of different types of jewellerty, hand knitted baby items. 

The displays are ever changing!

oh and there is a great little cafe right in the building...with an excellent playground for littlies

now to write the pattern

the samples are all finished...

very happy with how they turned out...

now I need to finalise the pattern writing

 

and drumroll...I finished sewing all of the hexies together for my quilt in Vignette

just loving this...and it has been a labour of love!

now to do the borders....

I'm thinking of staying with the colourwash look....but opposite, 

so where the cream is, that will be black, 

where the green is will be yellow/gold

what do you think?
