Just finished this special order for a customer this afternoon.
(it's from the Love Is pattern available here)

and just finishing up my doll for my doll swap on Snickerdoodle Dreams

Sunday....

well today is lovely here in Melbourne...not!
cold, wet and dreary is more like it....
perfect day for stitching...

have loads of that to do....

don't do this when foundation piecing!
Yes I've managed to sew my centre fabric on.....wrong size facing!!!!!
just as well there was only one seam to reverse sew.....

have made quite a few more of these hearts...
very quick and easy....
great results...
and use up loads of scraps....

speaking of which, this is my creative space at the moment...

nice and messy!!!!

Long Weekend Extra...

well the long weekend is almost over....

and what have I managed to do....
not much!

after all the "Can you just give me hand? It won't take long."
(about 10 times...)
has left me with not much too show for a weekend when I was going to do heaps!
I did get these hearts done...and I'm very pleased with them....

I'm going to do some more in different colours....
I'm still using up that bag of scraps from Jac....
very handy for this scrappy type of item....

Hope you have done loads of things that you wanted to get done.....
back to the hearts!

Long Weekend....

It's a long weekend here in Oz,
celebrating the Queen's Birthday...

what will we all get up too?
Down here in Victoria....I think it might be keeping warm.....
me....I'm going to be making some more of these....

and doing some more stitching on a new design I have been playing with....
