(photo heavy post!)
 gorgeous morning walks!
it's a little dry at the moment
 our set up at Bright
 our little bit of paradise
(right behind us, or to the left of the camper top photo)
massive Bunya pines in the main street
 Lake Catani on Mt Buffalo
view from the top of Mt Buffalo
water wheel fun at the water park on the Ovens River in the main st of Bright
 no words needed
 looking out over Mt Beauty
 amazing sculptures at Harrietville
driving over Mt Hotham towards Dinner Plains and on to Lakes Entrance
 coffee stop at Dinner Plains...
I can't recommend the cafe up there highly enough..
the coffee was good,
and the egg and bacon muffin with homemade relish was sensational!
if you get the chance, stop by they are lovely people!
morning walk along the foreshore at Lakes Entrance with my friend who lives there
quick stop over to the beach
our view for dinner at Kallima
some lovely squishy mail when I retrurned
 we got some rain too!
 our supervisior while chopping wood
 made some eggy presents
I was really good too, didn't eat any!
 finished all the #ruthsquilt stitcheries
started to cut out the rectangles,
got 150 done so far...

magpies enjoying the rain and the insects

over 100kms in the March Charge!

well I've made it past 100kms!
now I've made my target 150kms!!!
if I keep up what I'm doing I'll make it...

please consider donating to this very worthy cause....
we all know someone affected by Cancer,
whether it be a family member, friend, neighbor, workmate,
and if we all donate (even $5 will help) I would be most appreciative!
as I'm sure the thousands that suffer from this cruel disease will be too.

thank you to everyone that has supported me so far.

a new blog!

I've decided with my love of taking so many photos,
that a blog dedicated just to them is fitting....
you can find it here

it's called

it will be just photos I like,
my daily walk,
a day trip somewhere,
a quilt that catches my eye,
nature,
no people!
just whatever catches the lens..
enjoy!
here's the first one to enjoy.

My March so far....

well I have taken up the March Charge challenge to help fight cancer
see my story and to donate,
I'm up to day 10 and walked 35 kms so far...
my target is 100kms and to raise $250 towards helping to find a cure...
so if you can spare a few dollars on help with this, I would be most appreciative!
I'm not doing this for a particular person in my life, as there are many who suffer,
some close some not...
my point being, cancer affects every single one of us,
whether we know a family or friend, a work mate, old school friends, a neighbor...
there is someone affected and we can all help in such a tiny way to help overcome this dreadful disease!

so if you are able to help with a couple of dollars, please do
(maybe forgo that morning coffee once a week)
all of my progress can be found on my page (just follow the link)
cheers Julz

time flys!

 definitely!
there are too many negatives around at times,
so I choose to be happy!
gets them every time!!!!
the clouds were just silvery on this walk earlier in the week
day walk just a bit later on...
perfect reflections
 some Easter decorating
 inspired by Sandi at Forevermoore,
she is always doing some gorgeous seasonal decors
 caught this sunset one night,
gone so quickly!

some great examples at the Monbulk Quilt show held over the weekend
and of course I managed to bring home some goodies,
including my new book by Max and Louise Pattern Co
and signed by both of my gorgeous friends!
(so lucky to have these ladies as friends and to live so close to them!)
picking up firewood for Winter and this little guy put in a surprise visit
(I nearly had a heart attack! between him and the lizard that we thought was a baby snake until we realised it had legs!)
a much cuter visitor while gathering the wood
stuffing his beak on the witchtie grubs I uncovered!
 saying thanks for the grubs!

 sorry more walk photos!
feet up after a hard day cleaning carpets and moving every room in the house (almost)
still have 2 rooms to go ......argghhhh!
see you next time!
